Couch Courses Instructor’s grading timeline

All student courses that are fully completed in any month with a 70% or better will be graded the first week of the following month and submitted to the Florida State Fire College for credit.  Upon grading, the student will also receive a Couch Courses completion certificate that can be obtained in their profile for that course to be used for Columbia Southern University transferrable credit and/or proof of completion for whatever agency requests it.

For example:  Student completes coursework in the month of May, then they are graded the first week of June.  If successfully completed with a grade equal to or better than 70%, Couch Courses will submit the necessary paperwork to the Florida State Fire College, giving the students full credit.

Note:  Sometimes there is a delay by the Florida State Bureau of Fire Standards and Training in posting completion and administering their certificates.  If that is the case, please reach out to them and submit a copy of your Couch Courses Certificate if necessary.
